The group at a Wishaw opticians have helped to maintain native college youngsters protected through the darker winter nights with a donation of vibrant excessive vis security vests.
Workforce members from the Specsavers retailer on Important Avenue visited Muirhouse Major Faculty to donate 35 excessive vis jackets to the college’s devoted street security group, made up of pupils from throughout the college.
The jackets offered to the college will assist help the kids as nights get darker earlier, particularly once they’re making their method to college near close by roads.
Laura Baird, retailer director at Specsavers in Wishaw mentioned: ‘With mornings and evenings getting darker, it’s much more troublesome for motorists to see pedestrians so we wished to do our bit to maintain our local people protected by offering the excessive visibility jackets to our neighbouring college.
“We're additionally hoping to boost consciousness of eye testing in youngsters as sight issues left untreated can result in extra critical points in the long run.”
