A Scottish Authorities evaluation into transport infrastructure has steered they proceed with plans for a ‘Clyde Metro’ system.
And that would result in high-speed rail hyperlinks connecting Renfrewshire with Glasgow and key hubs comparable to hospitals, main training services, employment centres, retail hubs and main leisure/sports activities services.
The strategic transport initiatives evaluation 2, printed earlier this month, recommends the federal government work with native companions to make the mission a risk, in addition to setting out 44 different initiatives to enhance transport choices in Scotland.

Ross Greer, Scottish Greens MSP for West Scotland, welcomed the STPR2 suggestions.
