Police are investigating after an tried break-in at an East Kilbride jewellers on Christmas morning.
It's understood Beaverbrooks in EK, East Kilbride's Centre West was focused by thieves throughout the festivities.
A Police Scotland supply informed us: "Enquiries are persevering with following an tried house-breaking at a jewellers store in East Kilbride procuring centre round 6.20am on Sunday, December 25.
"Our enquiries are ongoing."
A spokeswoman for Beaverbrooks mentioned: “We will verify that there was an incident at our East Kilbride retailer within the early hours of the morning on December 25.
"We're doing every thing we will to help the police of their investigation and our retailer is now open and buying and selling as traditional.”
