Mysterious ‘fireball’ lights up night sky

There have been greater than 200 studies of a mysterious “fireball” crossing the night time sky over Scotland and Northern Eire.

The UK Meteor Community mentioned it started receiving studies of a fireball being noticed at about 9pm on Thursday.

The community mentioned it's “investigating to determine what the article was – meteor or house particles”, including that the majority studies had come from Scotland and Northern Eire.

Danny Nell, 21, was strolling his canine in Johnstone, simply west of Paisley and Glasgow, when he noticed the fireball.
