A lady has appeared in courtroom after a litter of puppies had been allegedly stolen throughout a raid of a Scots residence.
Eight nine-week-old Cockapoo pups had been allegedly swiped from the premises in Mayton in Kirriemuir, Angus, on Monday August 29. Police Scotland officers confirmed a 32-year-old girl had been arrested in reference to the incident later that day.
Angela Newlands, 32, appeared within the dock at Dundee Sheriff Courtroom final week charged with two counts of theft by burglary, one cost of theft, three fees of fraud by credit score or debit card and one cost of threatening and abusive behaviour.
She was additionally charged on one account of tried fraud by debit/bank card.
She made no plea and was launched on bail pending additional examinations.
Newlands' subsequent look in courtroom is but to be confirmed.
The puppies have since been returned to their proprietor and are protected and effectively.
