Scots mum about to become granny dies two days after cancer diagnosis

A mum who was on the brink of welcome her first grandchild has died – simply two days after being ­recognized with most cancers.

Nail technician Janice Cassidy Adair, 46, died on August 31 from bone and liver most cancers.

Her heartbroken daughter Laura Kirk, 19, mentioned she was glad her mum was capable of be on the gender reveal on August 15 and that Janice couldn’t wait to satisfy her grandson.

Laura, from Coatbridge, mentioned: “It felt so sudden, it was like she was gone within the blink of an eye fixed.”

Janice’s funeral is to be held on September 15 and her different youngsters Iain Kirk, 22, Logan Adair, 11, and Kian Adair, seven, are nonetheless reeling from her loss of life.

Laura added: “My mum was my greatest pal, I spoke to her all day, every single day.

“It doesn’t really feel actual, she was gone so quick.”
