A killer who battered a former policeman to dying along with his personal truncheon is again behind bars.
John Mackie was detained after allegedly breaching parole circumstances following his launch over the killing of Mike Mosey.
The 49-year-old, whose life sentence was decreased to 13 years on enchantment, has been now returned to jail and can solely be freed once more when the Parole Board for Scotland deem it applicable.
Mackie was initially jailed for all times in 2007 for bludgeoning Mike, 58, to dying in Braehead, Lanarkshire.
