Police seal off Paisley Park following "serious sexual assault"

Police have sealed off a Paisley park following a critical sexual assault final evening.

Officers have been on website at Durrockstock Park since final evening after being referred to as out round 9pm.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Footage taken this morning present officers patrolling the realm and enormous elements of the park sealed off.

They've taped off sections of the park, together with the newly-refurbished play park, which was reopened final month.

The park is closed off at on the Waverley Highway finish however stays open from the Durrockstock Highway entrance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Officers had been referred to as to experiences of a critical sexual assault within the Durrockstock Park space in Paisley at round 9pm on Saturday, 17 July, 2022.

“Enquiries are ongoing to determine the complete circumstances.”
