London Hearth Brigade has declared a serious incident as a result of "an enormous surge" in blazes throughout the capital amid the 40C warmth.
It comes as round 100 firefighters are tackling an enormous inferno in east London this afternoon which is engulfing a number of properties.
Tv footage exhibits thick black smoke billowing from constructing and fields that are on fireplace within the village of Wennington.
Sadiq Khan stated LFB is below "immense strain" because of plenty of fires throughout the town.
The London Mayor stated on Twitter: "London Hearth Brigade has simply declared a Main Incident in response to an enormous surge in fires throughout the capital at the moment.

London Hearth Brigade stated 15 fireplace engines and round 100 firefighters had been referred to as to the scene at simply after 1pm.
