A sterling stalwart of a Wishaw membership has been thanked for his a few years of service.

A presentation evening was not too long ago held in Cambusnethan Miners Social Membership to thank Jim Ballantyne for his companies as a committee member and as president for 15 years.

Lengthy standing committee members Ian Adams and Ian Borthwick offered Jim with a small present to indicate their appreciation for all of Jim’s work through the years.

The membership’s new president Alex Paris paid tribute to Jim.

He instructed Lanarkshire Dwell : “Jim’s been a part of the committee for over 20 years so he has been completely sensible.
