A presentation evening was not too long ago held in Cambusnethan Miners Social Membership to thank Jim Ballantyne for his companies as a committee member and as president for 15 years.

The membership’s new president Alex Paris paid tribute to Jim.
He instructed Lanarkshire Dwell : “Jim’s been a part of the committee for over 20 years so he has been completely sensible.
“I’m the brand new president so I’ve acquired massive footwear to fill.
“I do know Jim had been excited about stepping down pre-COVID so having gone by way of all of that he determined to step down.
