'Loving' mum 'fatally stabbed while sat on sofa', inquest hears

A mum was " stabbed to demise whereas sat on a settee", an inquest has heard.

Sukhjeet Uppal, 41, was repeatedly stabbed at her dwelling on September 19, 2021. She tragically died on the scene.

Mrs Uppal's husband Jai Singh, 50, was charged with the Wolverhampton mum's homicide, Birmingham Reside reviews.

Nevertheless, he died after struggling 'catastrophic mind harm' in jail in January.

The report of inquest states: "On 19/9/21 Mrs Sukhjeet Uppal was at her dwelling deal with when she was attacked with a knife while she was sitting on a settee. Mrs Uppal was stabbed a number of occasions by her attacker leading to accidents that led to her demise."

On the time of her demise, Mrs Uppal's household paid tribute to " one of the caring and loving folks you might ever meet".
