Man charged nearly year after death of pensioner cyclist 'hit by lorry' on A85

A person has been charged almost a yr after the demise of a pensioner who was biking on a Scots street.

The horror crash happened at round 5.45pm on Monday August 23, 2021, on the A85 close to Crianlarich, Stirling.

The 74-year-old man was biking westbound on the street when it's thought he collided with a Scania R450 lorry.

Emergency crews raced to the scene however the biker was pronounced useless upon arrival.

On the time, cops closed the street for eight hours whereas a probe happened.

Now, officers have confirmed a 57-year-old man has been charged in reference to the incident.

A report shall be despatched to the Procurator Fiscal.
