Vacationers visiting the Highlands have been warned to double-check their handbrake once they park up after a campervan plummeted 100ft from a Glencoe automotive park.
The Nationwide Belief for Scotland (NTS) shared an unbelievable picture exhibiting the upturned car mendacity on its facet after it rolled off the sting of the close by Three Sisters viewpoint parking space.
The charity has cared for the Glencoe Nationwide Nature Reserve since 1935 and recurrently shares recommendation and warnings to these visiting the realm on its social media.
Posting the picture on the NTS Glencoe web page, the charity wrote: "One thing you do not encounter every single day...
"All the time double-check your handbrake (although this may occasionally have been a defective one)."
Fortunately, they confirmed that nobody had been injured within the incident, although added that the car had induced appreciable harm to the panorama.
Followers of the web page posted their shock on the sight of the dramatic picture.
One wrote: "So devastated for everybody concerned. Nobody does that intentionally and simply so glad nobody received damage. A tragic lesson for us all."
Whereas one other added: "Glad no-one received damage. I all the time park in gear simply incase my handbrake ever fails."
