A Ukranian flag has been stolen from Bonnybridge's memorial gardens, to the disgust of native councillor Billy Buchanan.
The flag was flying to point out help for the folks of Ukraine who're below siege by Russian forces.
Councillor Buchanan stated: "I put the flag up at first of the battle - like many different cities and cities the world over did - to point out our help and solidarity with this brave nation and its people who find themselves in a residing nightmare."
He stated that he couldn't consider it when he realised that the flag had gone from the memorial gardens over the weekend and stated the theft confirmed "a complete lack of respect".
He added: "I'm simply actually disillusioned - so many individuals noticed the flag and stated they have been actually happy to see it flying there."
Cllr Buchanan stated that the flagpole had not been broken and the ropes had not been lower when the flag was being eliminated.
"If somebody had needed a Ukranian flag all they needed to do is contact me and I might have gotten them one. There was no must take the group's!" he stated.
