A Scot has paid tribute to her 'one in one million' lacking grandfather as police affirm a physique was discovered close to a golf course.
We advised how James Brannan was reported lacking from the Corrour Street space of Aviemore within the Highlands on Tuesday, February 8.
Precisely two months later, on April 8, officers found the physique of a person close to Spey Valley Golf Course.
Police on Sunday stated that, whereas formal identification is but to happen, the 72-year-old's household had been knowledgeable.
The tragic revelation sparked a wave of tributes to James, referred to as Jazza, on social media.
Public posts had been led by his bereft granddaughter, Bethanie.
She wrote on Fb: "One in one million, or in his phrases totally different class.
"No phrases might describe how I really feel about you Granda, I like you a lot.
"Relaxation in peace."
Droves of family members joined Bethanie in paying tribute to James on-line, hailing him as a 'legend' who was 'cherished by all'.
Theresa MacKay wrote: "I've fond reminiscences of a beautiful, mild big.
"RIP Jimmy."
Yvonne Gordon added: "So unhappy, legend of a person."
Nicole Siobhan commented: "So, so unhappy, such an amazing man.
"Fly excessive Jazza."
Jillian Scullion posted: "Such a beautiful man cherished by all within the village."
Highlands and Islands Police Division stated the demise is just not believed to be suspicious.

A police spokesperson stated: "Police within the Highlands can affirm that the physique of a person has been discovered close to Spey Valley Golf Course in Aviemore round 2.30pm on Friday, April, 8, 2022.
"Formal identification has but to happen, however the household of 72-year-old James Brannan reported lacking on Tuesday, 8 February, has been made conscious.
"The demise is just not believed to be suspicious.
"A report can be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
