Legendary presenter Jeff Stelling won't be leaving Sky Sports activities on the finish of the season.
The 67-year-old is likely one of the most recognisable faces in soccer broadcasting having been on the helm of Sky's Soccer Saturday present since 1994.
He is been a staple of Saturday afternoon TV ever since with Stelling anchoring a bunch of pundits reporting on the motion, primarily the English Premier League, in actual time.
There was an outpouring of emotion in October when Stelling introduced he can be stepping apart on the finish of this season.
However Sky have now introduced he will not step down, as he admits he wasn't able to log off on the "finest job on this planet."
He has determined to remain on for no less than the 2022/23 season.
Stelling mentioned: "Sky Sports activities is my dwelling and the Soccer Saturday crew are a giant a part of my life.
"As the top of the season approached, and I used to be getting ready to say goodbye, I realised that I used to be not able to blow the ultimate whistle and depart the very best job on this planet.
"I am thrilled to be staying and enthusiastic about transferring this present ahead and creating extra particular Saturday afternoons on Sky Sports activities."
Sky will host Sunday's Premiership derby between Rangers and Celtic this coming Sunday.
