Glasgow trains halted as emergency services rush to incident between stations

Railway providers between Glasgow and Edinburgh have been halted after emergency providers rushed to an incident on the road at Springburn.

Providers travelling between the 2 cities through Falkirk Grahamston and Cumbernauld have been changed with buses after Community Rail closed the road to permit emergency providers to entry the realm.

The character of the incident is just not recognized presently.

Scotrail stated in a tweet: "Because of the emergency providers coping with an incident between Springburn and Robroyston the road is closed.

"Our providers between Glasgow Queen Road and Edinburgh through Falkirk Grahamston and Cumbernauld will likely be diverted.

"I am going to replace you all as quickly as I can."

The rail operator has since organized alternate transport at Glasgow Queen Road and Camelon to name at stops through Springburn.

The British Transport Police advised the File the incident was underneath the management of Police Scotland.

Police Scotland has been contacted for remark.
