CAMROSE, Alta. - The Transportation Security Board of Canada says it's investigating a helicopter crash in central Alberta on the weekend.
The federal government company says a Bell 206B helicopter crashed close to Camrose on Sunday.
It says a pilot and three passengers have been on board.
RCMP say officers from the Killam-Forestburg detachment, in addition to paramedics and firefights, have been known as to the crash.
Mounties say three of the 4 folks on board have been taken by floor ambulance to space hospitals.
A fourth occupant was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital.
Neither the RCMP nor the TSB would describe the severity of the accidents, and didn't determine the individuals who have been on the helicopter.
The Transportation Security Board says it's gathering data and “assessing this prevalence.”
