'More snow' prompts Clarington Catholic schools to close on Wednesday, Jan. 19

All Catholic faculties in Clarington shall be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 19 and courses shall be on-line.

The Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District Faculty Board (PVNCCDSB) made the announcement “after dialogue with the Municipality of Clarington about its ongoing snow removing efforts, and the forecast for extra snow this night and tomorrow.”

Households have been instructed at 4:48 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18 that each one college students will pivot to distant studying for the subsequent day. Classroom lecturers will join with college students within the morning to begin that transition, based on the announcement.

All faculties in Durham area have been closed by the massive snowstorm on Monday, Jan. 17.

PVNCCDSB faculties reopened to in-person studying on Tuesday after which introduced the Wednesday pivot to digital studying after courses have been dismissed.
