Josh Gordon is back scoring touchdowns in the NFL.
He notched his first one of the 2021 season with the Chiefs against the Raiders in a game that’s probably already over at halftime. Gordon’s touchdown reception made it 28-0 before Kansas City tacked on another touchdown before the half.
Gordon caught a screen pass from Patrick Mahomes from the one-yard line and walked into the endzone for the score. This is Gordon’s first touchdown since the 2019 season.
It’s now 35-3 as KC has outscored Las Vegas 76-17 through six quarters this season.
The NFL world was very happy for Gordon as he’s attempting another comeback after battling substance abuse issues.

Once again, the Chiefs' offensive play-calling against the Raiders this year has just been clinical.
Andy Reid reached for the flag & then elected to not challenge the previous play so that he could call an easy, 1-yard touchdown pass for Josh Gordon.
The Chiefs are up 28-0.

The Chiefs extend their lead as Patrick Mahomes finds Josh Gordon for a 1-yard touchdown. That's Gordon's first TD with the Chiefs.

All that cardio has paid off for Josh Gordon. It’s a great feeling when that happens. Good for him.

Josh Gordon lives, and the Chiefs are up 28-0.
Andy Reid clearly trying to get Gordon going with that play call. Nice decision in that spot

Props to Josh Gordon for getting back to the NFL and scoring a TD. Would have been easy for him to give up at some point

Very cool seeing Joe Thuney celebrating Josh Gordon’s touchdown with him. The two were teammates in New England the last time Gordon scored in 2019. https://t.co/TBdB6gKgJS

Gordon has spent time with the Patriots, Seahawks, and Browns before being signed by the Chiefs in late September. He’s most famous for his 2013 season when he was one of the best receivers in the NFL.
He finished that year with 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns on 87 receptions even though the Browns went 4-12.
Barring an unforeseen collapse, the Chiefs will get to 9-4 heading into next Sunday’s contest against the Chargers.
