Former Celtic and Clyde striker Frank McGarvey has died on the age of 66 following a battle with pancreatic most cancers.
McGarvey - who additionally performed for St Mirren, Queen of the South and, latterly in his profession, Shotts Bon Accord - had revealed in October that he had been identified with the illness. Later that month he was given a heat reception at Celtic Park when he appeared on the pitch at half-time of Celtic's 6-1 win over Hibs.

His former golf equipment have since paid tribute to man who loved a trophy-laden profession, successful 5 trophies with the Hoops, two at St Mirren and the Second Division title with the Bully Wee in 1992/93.
An announcement from Celtic stated: "Everybody at Celtic is extraordinarily saddened to listen to of the dying of former striker, Frank McGarvey, who handed away earlier this morning on the age of 66.
"The ideas and prayers of everybody at Celtic are with Frank’s household at this extraordinarily unhappy time. RIP Frank, YNWA."
