A Scots mum who gave start to her child boy in her bed room has thanked hero ambulance workers who arrived simply in time to ship him.
Laura Jackson, from Rutherglen, went into labour at dwelling on August 30, simply hours after she had attended hospital however was solely 1cm dilated. The 30-year-old had no time to get to hospital so her associate Liam Barrett, 30, known as 999 for an ambulance. The crew arrived and inside 20 minutes Laura had given start to child Blaine.
First time mum Laura, who described the incident as 'terrifying', has now thanked workers from the Scottish Ambulance Service who helped her via the ordeal.
Laura mentioned: "“It was solely myself and my associate, Liam, at dwelling and it was terrifying. It was actually scary, particularly as a result of it was our first child and we didn’t know what to anticipate.

She continued: "I had a really quick labour and we delivered the child in my bed room. Liam phoned the ambulance and so they arrived at 8.45am. Blaine was born at 9.05am."
"The technicians and paramedic helped us ship Blaine safely and actually put me comfortable after the start and on the way in which to the hospital. I’d prefer to thank them a lot for every little thing."
Laura mentioned Blaine was doing “nice” after the start and added: “He’s getting so huge already and is such a cheerful and content material child.”
