Scots Drag Race UK winner Lawrence Chaney has launched the trailer for his or her new present 'Lawrence Chaney's Homecoming Queens'.
The 26-year-old, from Helensburgh, took to social media to share the teaser for his or her newest thrilling venture. “Alright hens, mens and so they/thems," Chaney says within the trailer. “I’m taking Scotland’s most cherished celebrities on an enormous pink street journey down reminiscence lane.”
"However there is a massive enormous superb Chaney twist: they're going to all be in drag!"
Followers took to social media to guess the massive names they hope to see on Chaney's new present. One wrote: "I need to see Limmy in full glam," and one other mentioned: "David Tennant higher be on this."
"That is screaming out for @LewisCapaldi to be on it!!," wrote one other fan.
Lorraine Kelly took to Twitter to share the teaser, writing: "Fabulous - my child woman is all grown up!"
Followers had been fast to note the inclusion of well-liked Glasgow bar Delmonicas featured within the promo. They took to the feedback, writing: "We love the filming at delmonicas."
One other penned: "this being filmed in Del’s is actually so full circle and we like to see it," and a 3rd wrote: "filmed in @delmonicas."
“Scottish drag icon Lawrence Chaney takes a thriller superstar again to their roots with a visit to their hometown,” reads an official synopsis from BBC Scotland. “And because it’s Lawrence, the superstar experiences it from a really completely different perspective – they will be disguised in drag!
"Our superstar may have their very personal drag persona, created by Lawrence, with which to shock their households and associates and throw the locals off their scent. This curated queen may also have the liberty to be as flamboyant and improbable as they need.”
Lawrence Chaney’s Homecoming Queens will air December 27, 2022 on BBC Scotland and can be obtainable to stream on iPlayer.
