Pedestrian dies after horror three-vehicle crash in East Kilbride

A pedestrian has died following a horror three-vehicle smash on the A726 Queensway in East Kilbride.

The incident unfolded shortly after 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 7, when officers have been alerted to a collision on the eastbound carriageway of the highway east of the roundabout junction with Murrayhill and Cornwall Road.

Emergency companies, together with Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, raced to the scene however sadly, the 35-year-old man was pronounced useless upon arrival.

The automobiles concerned have been a black Citroen Berlingo van, a silver Seat Leon automotive and a white Vauxhall Crossland automotive. Nobody else was damage within the occasion.
