Missing Scots OAP traced after early-morning disappearance

A Scots OAP who went lacking from his dwelling within the early hours of the morning has been traced.

Henry McNeill left his dwelling within the Innellan space of the city of Dunoon, Argyll and Bute at round 5am on Sunday, December 18.

The 80-year-old was driving his inexperienced VW Passat automobile, registration AD59 UTL, and went within the route of the A83. His household stated he typically goes for a drive however isn't usually away from dwelling for greater than two hours.

Officers investigating his disappearance have since confirmed he has been discovered and is protected.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland stated: "Police Scotland can verify that Henry McNeil, 80, who had been reported lacking within the Dunoon space has been traced protected.

"Thanks to everybody who helped with our earlier attraction for data."
