Wayne Shorter, the award-winning jazz saxophone participant and composer, died Thursday in Los Angeles at 89.
Shorter gained an astonishing 12 Grammy Awards throughout his lifetime and is greatest identified for his revolutionary music and contributions to celebrated jazz albums within the Sixties and ’70s.
Born in 1933 in Newark, New Jersey, Shorter started his profession within the mid-Fifties when he joined Artwork Blakely’s Jazz Messengers after graduating from New York College with a level in music.
