Frightened owl found inside food waste truck in Glasgow

A frightened owl was present in a meals waste truck in Glasgow.

The chook was found amongst garbage behind the waste automobile on November 18. Photographs present the male animal's feathers matted from being lined in filth shortly after Scottish SPCA officers rapidly moved in to rescue him.

He was rushed to the animal welfare charity's nearest shelter, the place he acquired a number of washes to take away the filth. Officers then needed to place the owl underneath warmth with the intention to revive him from the circumstances.

He spent 10 days in isolation earlier than he was launched again into the wild. It's unknown how the animal ended up within the rear of the meals waste lorry.

A spokesperson from the SPCA stated: "Arduous to imagine this is similar tawny owl, proper? This poor wee man was saved from a meals waste truck, and he was in a horrible state after we received him.

"Our wildlife workforce labored laborious to wash him up and after some TLC, he was launched again into the wild. 1000's of animals at our wildlife centre like this tawny owl profit from the present of rescue."
