Christmas ruined with kids 'left in tears' by 'rotten turkeys' that looked like ET

Households declare their Christmases have been ruined after allegedly receiving rotten turkeys from main supermarkets across the nation. After making the grim discoveries as they started to arrange for the festive dinner, affected prospects have been sharing photos of the gone-off poultry on social media.

One chicken, which had a darkish blue and black color beneath its pores and skin, was even in comparison with trying much like the well-known alien ET, Birmingham Stay reviews. Sophie Whike shared an image of the turkey on Twitter and wrote: "Actually what the hell is that this. Simply defrosted my Turkey from @LidlGB.

"Christmas ruined. It is Xmas eve - that is really a joke. Not solely is there no meat, the home smells of rotten meat - not acceptable." Others confronted related points as they tried to arrange their turkeys.

Notorious2023 tweeted: "What the bloody hell @sainsbury. My turkey is rotten. Christmas ruined, children are crying. We now should have beans on toast. An absolute shame."

In the meantime Adam Inexperienced instructed his followers: "Simply obtained my @sainsburys turkey out the fridge to stuff it and prep it for tomorrow's large Christmas dinner for the chicken to completely stink! Gave it 15mins to see if the scent would go just for it to worsen.

"Very disappointing contemplating it might've been the centerpiece." Sainsbury's responded by saying they are going to look into the criticism.

Jonathan Heard stated: "Oh wow @sainsburys it is a fairly poor present! Recent turkey dated twenty seventh Dec and it is dangerous! Slimy pores and skin with yellowing patches and smells off. That is going to place a downer on tomorrow's Christmas dinner for 13!"

Sad buyer Traceyamarshall stated: "Thanks @LidlGB for almost ruining our xmas! Turkey crown purchased had gone off. Completely vile"

Speedydoc added: "@ Morrisons actually disenchanted. Have opened my meals to order Turkey this morning, and it is off. #notveryMerryChristmas". BirminghamLive has contacted the supermarkets for remark.

A Morrisons spokesperson stated: "Our high quality crew style check all our merchandise - we've got been style testing our turkeys towards our prime quality and security requirements all through the Christmas interval - together with our joints, crowns and entire birds and we've got rigorous requirements, procedures and testing in place with our accredited suppliers.

"Any complaints acquired from prospects will probably be totally investigated with our suppliers to make sure we fulfill our prospects and meet our prime quality requirements."
