Airdrie and Shotts MSP Neil Grey has slammed the "unmitigated catastrophe" of Brexit after it was revealed it has value Lanarkshire the equal of £266 million.
Mr Grey highlighted how Scottish exports have plummeted to the worth of £2.2bn because the UK left the European Union.
Figures from HMRC present that exports have dropped 13 per cent prior to now two years, from £16.7bn to £14.5bn.
Per complete inhabitants and misplaced export worth, it has value North Lanarkshire £137.1m and neighbouring South Lanarkshire £129.5m.
An unimpressed Mr Grey instructed Lanarkshire Dwell : “Brexit has been an unmitigated catastrophe for each space of Scotland, together with in Airdrie and Shotts.
"These newest figures present why it's important for Scotland to develop into impartial and re-join the European Union.
