A person has been left with severe facial accidents following a brutal assault within the early hours of this morning.
The 25-year-old was severely assaulted at round 1am this morning within the Inexperienced Road space of Saltcoats, close to to the junction with Vernon Road.
Police at the moment are interesting for witnesses following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "We're interesting for witnesses after a person was severely assaulted in Saltcoats in a single day.
"The incident occurred round 1am at the moment within the Inexperienced Road space, close to to the junction with Vernon Road.
"The 25-year-old sustained facial accidents and attended Crosshouse Hospital for therapy.
"We are asking drivers within the space on the time to please verify their sprint cams for any footage that would help enquiries.
"Anybody with data can contact police by way of 101, quoting reference 0612 of November 6."
