Man injured after armed cops fire gun during street lockdown in Stonehaven

A gun has been fired by law enforcement officials in Stonehaven, after armed officers locked down a road following experiences of a 'disturbance'.

Officers have been referred to as to Hunter Place within the city at 12.40pm on Monday afternoon. A 31-year-old man has been arrested and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with minor accidents.

Police say that officers discharged a firearm throughout the incident and a taser was additionally deployed. Enquiries stay ongoing.
