Officers in Ayrshire are interesting for info following a severe assault in Irvine final evening.
A 35-year-old man was assaulted, by a gang of 5 or 6 younger males wearing black, on the junction of Livingston Terrance and Beaton Terrace at round 8.15pm on Thursday, November 3.
The sufferer was later handled at Crosshouse Hospital for a severe harm.
The attackers are believed to be aged between 18 and 25. Officers are eager to talk to them.
Detective constable Fraser Murray, of Saltcoats CID, stated: “I'm asking anybody who was within the space earlier than and after this assault to get in contact as you could have info that would assist with our investigation.
“I'm additionally asking anybody with dash-cam or non-public CCTV that may help with our enquiries to get in contact.”
