Scores of individuals have been evacuated from their houses after a hearth at an electrical energy substation in Ayrshire.
The blaze took maintain late final night time at Knockinlaw Mount in Kilmarnock.
Ayrshire Dwell understands that round 30 residents have been evacuated amid fears over the hearth's proximity to a close-by fuel provide.
Neighbours have been despatched to Onthank Main College and accommodations within the space.
Emergency providers and officers from East Ayrshire Council stay on the scene.
A council spokesperson mentioned: "Our emergency response groups are presently serving to individuals who have been evacuated from properties round an electrical energy substation in Knockinlaw Mount, Kilmarnock.
"Emergency providers are on the scene and have cordoned off the encircling space whereas they take care of the scenario.
"All affected residents have been contacted, and they're being sorted by our group.
