Curfew for man who brandished knife at Lanarkshire neighbour

A Lanarkshire man who threatened his 68-year-old neighbour with a knife faces a six-month curfew.

Hamilton Sheriff Court docket heard that Paul Davidson warned the person he can be "executed in".

Davidson, 53, admitted threatening or abusive behaviour exterior his dwelling in Poplar Place, Blantyre, on August 29 final 12 months.

He additionally admitted knocking the person to the bottom, presenting a knife at him and possessing a bladed merchandise in public.

Jennifer Cunningham, prosecuting, mentioned one other neighbour was in his backyard about 7pm when Davidson entered the road, apparently drunk.
