Planning permission has been granted for a photo voltaic farm close to Ballymena in Co Antrim, the Infrastructure Minister has introduced.
Sinn Fein’s John O’Dowd mentioned he has granted permission for the Kells Photo voltaic Farm, with the proposal for the development and operation of a photo voltaic farm and ancillary improvement on the Whappstown Street.
Saying the choice, Mr O’Dowd mentioned: “Minister O’Dowd mentioned: “I've made this choice to approve after having given cautious consideration to the unbiased Planning Appeals Fee’s (PAC) report and the advice of my planning officers.
“Whereas I'm all the time acutely aware of the considerations of native residents, inexperienced infrastructure does symbolize an actual alternative for tackling the local weather emergency, serving to to spice up our financial system and making a sustainable infrastructure for future generations.”
