An attraction has been launched to hint a person final seen leaving his home carrying just one shoe amid rising considerations for his welfare.
Steven Deans, 59, left his dwelling on Springfield Lea in South Queensferry at round 10.30am on Tuesday October 25 and was seen strolling westbound on Society Street beneath the Queensferry Crossing. Police say he hasn't been seen since however hope that members of the general public could have handed him on the street.
The lacking man is described as being 6ft 3ins in peak, of medium construct, and bald. When final seen he was carrying darkish denim denims, a blue long-sleeve t-shirt, a darkish blue denim jacket and one black Sketcher shoe. He had a white sock on his different foot.
Police issued an image and outline of Steven on Wednesday morning, lower than 24 hours after he was final seen. It's understood officers are involved for his welfare.
Steven's son James shared a CCTV picture of his dad strolling alongside the road on Fb. He wrote: "If anybody has seen my dad Steven Deans please get involved. Final seen at 10am within the South Queensferry space and could also be appearing out of character, was final pictured carrying just one shoe."

Inspector Scott Kennedy, of Police Scotland's Edinburgh division, mentioned: “I'm asking anybody who has seen Steven or is aware of the place he's to get in contact. We need to set up that he's protected and nicely.
“In case you had been within the space across the bridges close to Society Seaside and have seen him please get in contact. I'd additionally ask folks residing within the space to test sheds and outbuildings in case he has sought shelter."
He added: “The world he was final seen is well-liked with canine walkers and runners so I'm asking everybody to maintain an eye fixed out and tell us for those who see anybody matching Steven’s description.”
