A motorist who triggered the demise of a bicycle owner by careless driving in a tragic accident on Christmas Day has prevented a jail sentence. Iain Methven, 30, died from extreme head and neck accidents after he was struck by a blue Ford Deal with the A6105 street in Berwickshire.
