Police appeal as man hospitalised after assault in broad daylight on West Lothian street

Police are interesting for data after a person was critically assaulted in West Lothian.

Round 1pm on Monday, a 40-year-old man was strolling close to to Kirkgate, West Calder, when he was approached by a person and assaulted.

The person was taken to St John’s Hospital for remedy.

Detective Constable Robert Gilmour of CID mentioned : “We're interesting for anybody who was within the space and witnessed the assault to get in contact with police.

"Anybody with any data ought to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 1553 of Monday, 3 October, 2022.”
