A person has died following a crash in Co Down.
The man, who was in his 40s, was concerned in a collision in Ballygowan which was reported at round 7.30am on Friday.
Sergeant Amanda McIvor stated police want to communicate to any witnesses.
“The collision, which was reported simply earlier than 7.30am this morning, Friday September 23, occurred on the Moneyreagh Highway,” she stated.
“Police attended the scene the place sadly the driving force was pronounced useless.
“The highway was closed for a time frame however has since reopened.
“We're investigating the circumstances of the collision and are asking witnesses who might have been within the space from 11pm on Thursday September 22 till 7.30am this morning, or anybody who might have captured dashcam footage, to please get in contact by calling 101, quoting reference CW 260 – 23/09/22.”
