Chairman Colin McKendry vows that Coleraine will ban supporters who engage in sectarianism

Coleraine chairman Colin McKendry has insisted the membership will preserve a zero tolerance method to sectarian chanting and never hesitate to subject bans.

The Bannsiders chief was talking after the membership’s winger Jamie Glackin commented on Twitter following Friday’s 2-0 win at residence to Newry Metropolis: “Nice win @ColeraineFC! makes for a very good begin to the weekend.. some critical horrible chants from a few of our followers tonight which simply isn’t on, there’s no room for sectarian chants in soccer in any way!”

McKendry mentioned the membership would take agency motion to eradicate such behaviour.
