Street policing officers in Edinburgh are interesting for witnesses after a automotive was seen travelling the incorrect manner on the A720 Edinburgh Metropolis bypass and later refused to cease.
At round 1.10am this morning officers obtained a stories of a blue Vauxhall Astra automotive travelling within the incorrect route.
Roads policing officers attended and following a pursuit, deployed techniques to carry the automotive to a cease on the M9 between Junction 1A Kirkliston and a pair of Philpstoun.
The M9 was closed at 2am and reopened shortly after 5.30am.
Three cops have been taken to Forth Valley Hospital to be checked over.
Inspector Stephen Quinn stated: “Our enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the automobile which didn't cease are ongoing.
“I'd urge anybody who might have witnessed this automobile’s actions or was within the space across the time of the pursuit to contact police.
“Additionally, anybody with dash-cam footage which may help our investigation ought to get in contact.”
