Rider airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after motorbikes crash near Scots loch

A rider has been airlifted to hospital with critical accidents after two motorbikes crashed on the A82 close to Loch Ba. Emergency companies had been known as to the scene within the Rannoch Moor space at round 11.45am on Saturday, October 1, following reviews of an accident.

The 2 Suzuki motorbikes, one silver and one blue, had been travelling south on the time of the collision. The 50-year-old driver of the silver bike was flown to the Queen Elizabeth College Hospital for therapy. Medics describe their situation as critical however non-life threatening.

Nobody else was injured. Crash investigators are eager to talk to anybody who could have sprint cam footage from the realm which will assist with their enquiries.

Constable Mary Boyd, of the Highway Policing Unit at Fort William Police Station, mentioned: “Our enquiries to ascertain the total circumstances of the crash are ongoing and I'd urge anybody who might be able to assist to get in contact.

“We'd be particularly eager to listen to from anybody who could have dashcam footage of the 2 automobiles concerned.
