Northern Ireland football star Kyle Lafferty being investigated by Kilmarnock FC for alleged sectarian remark

Kilmarnock FC have lodged an investigation into alleged sectarian feedback made by Northern Irish participant, Kyle Lafferty.

Footage that has been broadly circulated on-line seems to indicate the Fermanagh-born striker talking to soccer followers in a bar.

The clip begins with a person eager to pose for an image with the previous Rangers star.

The person then seems to say, "Up the Celts", earlier than Lafferty immediately steps away from the person and allegedly makes a sectarian remark as he walks off.

The Scottish Premiership aspect the 35-year-old now performs for has launched an official investigation into the incident. 

A Kilmarnock membership assertion reads: "Kilmarnock Soccer Membership are conscious of a video circulating on-line which seems to indicate a member of our enjoying employees utilizing language of a sectarian nature.

"The membership finds all types of discriminatory behaviour fully unacceptable. The matter might be investigated by the membership."

The Irish Soccer Affiliation has been contacted for additional remark.
