A person has died in a home hearth in Belfast.
The hearth occurred on Wednesday morning at Lenadoon Avenue within the west of the town.
Northern Eire Hearth and Rescue Service group commander Geoff Somerville mentioned: “The ideas and sympathies of Northern Eire Hearth and Rescue Service are with the family members of a person who died following a hearth on Lenadoon Avenue, Belfast.
“On Wednesday at 8.04am, firefighters had been referred to as to stories of a hearth in a two-storey terraced home.
“Two hearth home equipment from Springfield Hearth Station attended the incident.
“The hearth was out when firefighters arrived, however tragically a person was discovered useless on the scene.
“The incident was handled by 9.59am and the reason for the hearth is beneath investigation.”
