A aircraft carrying the Irish premier to New York for the UN Basic Meeting has returned to Dublin.
The Aer Lingus flight took off from Dublin Airport at round 5pm on Wednesday.
It returned to Dublin at round 6.30pm.

A spokesperson for Aer Lingus stated there had been a chicken strike shortly after take-off.
“Aer Lingus flight EI107 working from Dublin to New York JFK this afternoon was required to show again when the plane skilled a chicken strike shortly after take-off,” they stated.
“The plane landed safely at Dublin Airport and all clients and crew safely disembarked.
“We plan to function the flight later this night on a alternative plane. We apologise to clients impacted for the inconvenience.”
