Biker suffers serious injuries in horror car smash as cops close Scots road for eight hours

A biker has been left severely injured in hospital after a horror smash in Aberdeen. Emergency companies had been referred to as to the scene on the A96 Nice Northern Highway at round 6.55pm on Thursday September 29.

A black Triumph motorbike and a silver Toyota CHR automobile collided - leaving a 35-year-old man badly harm. He was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for therapy.

Nobody else was injured whereas police closed the street for round eight hours to permit for a full accident investigation. Officers at the moment are eager to listen to from members of the general public who could have sprint cam footage from the world that will help with their enquiries.

Constable Matthew Lawton of the Highway Policing Unit in Inverurie stated: “Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and I might urge anybody with data to get in contact.

“We might be eager to talk to anybody who could have dashcam or different footage from the world across the time of the collision.

“Anybody with data can name police on 101, quoting reference 2847 of 29 September.”

The street reopened at round 3.10am on Friday, September 30.
