Belfast Metropolis Council has been inundated with requests for twin language road indicators since a coverage change in the summertime.
The guidelines for the erection of a road sign up a language aside from English modified in July.
Since then the council has obtained 500 requests for twin language indicators — the overwhelming majority of which shall be for Irish indicators.
Sinn Fein, Alliance, the SDLP, the Inexperienced Social gathering, and Folks Earlier than Revenue all help the brand new coverage, whereas the three unionist events, the DUP, UUP and PUP, are towards it.
