Emergency companies have rushed to a Scots constructing website after an unexploded bomb was discovered.
An exclusion zone has been applied across the development website on Springfield Street in Barrhead after police had been referred to as round 10am on Thursday.
The street has been closed whereas officers watch for the bomb squad to attend.
Practice companies between Neilston and Muirend have been scrapped following the invention as the road runs near the constructing website.
Substitute busses are actually working from each stations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Police obtained a report of an unexploded ordnance having been discovered at a development website on Springfield Street in Barrhead round 10.05am on Thursday, 29 September, 2022.
“The street is closed and a cordon is in place. EOD have been contacted.”
Community Rail mentioned: "The railway between Neilston and Muirend is closed attributable to an unexploded bomb being discovered on a constructing website near the road.
"Native police have applied an exclusion zone for security causes, which features a part of monitor."
ScotRail added: "An unexploded bomb on a constructing website close to the railway has closed the Muirend to Neilston line.
