Scottish schoolgirl missing for five days is traced safe and well, say police

Police have traced a lacking Scottish schoolgirl who had not been seen for 5 days, after going lacking in Inverclyde.

Jade Murray, 16, had not been seen since Wednesday, September 14, having final been with household in Greenock. She was reported lacking to police on Saturday, September 17.

She had been in contact along with her household till Saturday, therefore the delay in her being reported. Police stated on Monday morning that she had since been traced protected and properly.
