A police chief has known as for calm after dysfunction broke out at an unplanned protest in Leicester.
A spokesman for Leicestershire Police stated two individuals had been arrested after “severe dysfunction” on Saturday evening and into Sunday morning.
The pressure stated massive crowds shaped when teams of younger males gathered for an unplanned protest.
In a video filmed at 9pm on Saturday, short-term Chief Constable Rob Nixon stated: “Now we have had quite a few reviews of an outbreak of dysfunction in elements of the east Leicester space of the town.

A police spokesman stated: “A number of incidents of violence and harm have been reported to the police and are being investigated.

She wrote on Twitter: “It is a time for cool heads.

“Your loved ones will probably be frightened in your security, please settle for the recommendation of the police who're attempting to defuse and are calling for calm.”
